Life after death.. or... death after life??

Life. Death. A beginning. An end. The two most important and significant events in a persons life. And everything that occurs in between becomes irrelevant in the end. More often than not, I wonder “Is there really life after death? If so, where do we all go.. Is there really something called ‘Heaven’ or ‘Hell’?” But obviously, I couldn’t find answers to any of these questions. Neither can anyone else. There is only one way to find out the answers. When we die, of course.  It gives me a shudder even at the thought of losing my loved ones and never ever seeing them again after I go peacefully to my grave! So many beautiful relations and bonds that we have created in this lifetime be it your parents, husband, wife, brothers, sisters, grandparents, friends, etc.. will end as soon as you leave this world for another unknown world and would never be able to see them all again ever in your life or life after death, if there is one! Sad, isn't it? All your achievement and accomplishments loses their worth once you lose out on life. And everytime I think about this, everything we do in this lifetime somehow suddenly becomes irrelevant and without purpose, since no matter what you do everyone is going to end up with the same final fate that is sealed for everyone on this planet – Death! And yet, despite knowing all of this, we strive to live and love and be loved! That’s life.. and it goes on till it's the end. So do we…

    I would think your accomplishments and achievements outlive you...they keep you alive even after you are gone..like if I do manage to write that book one day and get it published..it will be there when I am not...! but yes, when I think of losing my loved ones..it makes me sad..

Please don't judge her..

The day I was born, my entire family rejoiced except my mom. But please don’t judge her since she was in pain, weak and fighting to survive just to bring me safely in to this world. When I cried in the middle of the night she woke up and spent endless nights with me, comforting me and rocking me back to sleep. But there were times when she didn’t. Please don’t judge her for that since she was tired and sleep deprived for making sure I slept peacefully. She left me in the hands of my grandmother/nanny when I turned three months, but please don’t judge her for that since she needed to get back to work and struggled to retain her identity at the same time fighting her inner conscience which was ridden with guilt for leaving me. Dear You. Yes you who are reading this. Don't look so puzzled. I know you are wondering why am I addressing this letter to you of all people. Well, because I know that you will listen to what I have to say and help me. Or will at least give a thought about it. Who am I? And why do I need your help? Well, I am just one of you.
