My first attempt at writing a poem for my husband on his birthday….


 U came into my life like a knight in shining armor,
And filled my life with happiness, laughter and a little grammar..

U r the man of my dreams and just like a flowing stream,
U whisked me off my feet with a gentle scream..

U showed me the true meaning of love and unity,
And made my dreams turn to reality..

With U every fight seemed sweet,
Without U every night seemed so long..

U showered me with lovely gifts,
And gave my heart a whooping lift..

Now its my turn to bestow U with a wonderful gift of love
For U deserve the best and to U that much I owe..

I never fail to thank God for sending u in my life
And giving me the honor of being your wife!

    Haha! I don't know about that but yeah love sure has the power to make u do things which might put u at a risk, of making a complete fool out of yourself, later on!! :P

The past few weeks have been the most challenging and toughest weeks as a mother. The most dreaded day in the life of any parent, arrived. The first day at school. Yes! My little baby who is no more a baby, officially, started playschool last month. Please don't judge her..

The day I was born, my entire family rejoiced except my mom. But please don’t judge her since she was in pain, weak and fighting to survive just to bring me safely in to this world. When I cried in the middle of the night she woke up and spent endless nights with me, comforting me and rocking me back to sleep. But there were times when she didn’t. Please don’t judge her for that since she was tired and sleep deprived for making sure I slept peacefully. She left me in the hands of my grandmother/nanny when I turned three months, but please don’t judge her for that since she needed to get back to work and struggled to retain her identity at the same time fighting her inner conscience which was ridden with guilt for leaving me. It was harder for her than it was for me, trust me. When I was a toddler, my mom went for a holiday with my dad. Without me. Dear You. Yes you who are reading this. Don't look so puzzled. I know you are wondering why am I addressing this letter to you of all people. Well, because I know that you will listen to what I have to say and help me. Or will at least give a thought about it. Who am I? And why do I need your help? Well, I am just one of you. Or you can say in everyone of you. It's how you perceive me. I am around since years but I die a premature death every year by each one of you to be born again next year. Every year you promise to take care of me, nurture me, hold on to me and pamper me.
