Sunset dreams..
Sunsets have always fascinated me. I find them more captivating than the sunrise. There is something about sunsets that is just so pristine. I can watch them with awe whole day if it existed that long… But it is just a matter of minutes before the dusky orange hues turn magically into blue twilight as soon as the sun retires for the day rapidly disappearing below the horizon. The moment is so poetic and the way the crimson sky romances the earth by enveloping it in gold thereby enhancing her beauty, puts you in a trance. You are so mesmerized by the aura you are surrounded with and breathtaking views it unfolds for you to behold. It’s like the sky turns into a canvas during sunset for God to paint it with myriad of colors and create a masterpiece. And no two paintings are the same, everyday has a different stroke, a different palette and a different brush and you are left to gaze at this work of art in amazement and bewilderment.
The golden hour, as it is popularly referred as, provides plenty of opportunities for photographers to capture the sunset hues. It is often one of the most interesting subjects to shoot. No prizes for guessing, it is indeed one of my favorite subjects to capture on my lens. I seldom get tired of capturing the golden beauty. I’m like a woman on a mission when I’m clicking sunset photos. The mission to capture as many photos I can before the sun sets and providing justice to the pictures taking back with me a small part of the vibrancy and serenity it exudes. The pics of sunset you see on this post are taken by me along the years. They may not be the best out there in terms of photography but I certainly hope that for a moment, it inspires you to.. dream!
