Photo of the week # "Twigs with a twist"
We have all seen or heard about the beauty of autumn, when
the leaves exhibit a myriad of colors before withering and shedding away. The
vivid colors of fall are a photographer’s delight and everyone wants to capture
the beauty on their camera. But, rarely would you notice the exquisiteness of
the leafless tree which looks more like a skeleton without the flesh. Yet, for
some strange reason I find that facet of nature beautiful and fascinating enough
to capture it on my lenses. Whenever I see barren trees I feel drawn to it and
get mesmerized by the aura it creates. For some it might be spooky or lifeless
but for me it depicts life in perspective. A tree is at its pinnacle in terms
of beauty when it is nearing its end. It demonstrates how outer beauty is just
short lived while inner beauty is eternal. It also illustrates the intricacy
and complexity within oneself which is comprehensible once the outer façade is
perished. Be it trees or humans. Only difference being that the trees will get
both its outer façade and beauty after some time but for humans it is
irrevocable.
