Corruption - Is there an end to it??

The most talked about topic these days here is Anna Hazare! Everywhere I see, newspaper, media, TV and even social networking sites, all I see is news and updates about him and his movement. It feels as if I’m in pre-independence era and witnessing a revolution in the making of attaining freedom! This is similar in a way as here we are fighting for freedom from corruption. Its kind of inspiring yet bewildering at the same time to see everyone giving this issue so much hype. Having said that, I’m not at all against his movement. I for one would love to envision a corruption free India like any other Indian would. But lets face it, with so much poverty, illiteracy and unemployment do we really think that a man single-handedly will be able to bring that revolution in about 100 crore people across the nation? I understand that we need to start from somewhere and someone has to take a bold step to initiate it and that someone is Anna Hazare here. I appreciate his efforts and initiative but

Life's U-turn...

So after a long hiatus, I’m back to the world of blogging! So much has changed since the last time I posted on my blog. It would not be incorrect if I say that my life has practically changed in these past few months. It’s as if life has abruptly changed the course of direction it was going on till now. Rather, taken a U-turn to a road so well-known that I can travel the distance with closed eyes. Or so I thought! So much has changed during the time I was busy traveling distant lands and exploring other paths. Moreover, with time even I’ve changed in some ways. So what I thought was familiar now strangely feels strange in many ways. Although, it was a long-planned ‘U-turn’, I didn’t anticipate the changes, adjustments and repercussions it would bring along with it. Consequently, it was a struggle to continue on the same road initially, more often than not fighting the irresistible urge to go back to the road we were on.
